Diana Bracco receives the gold medal of the radiology society

At the 51st national congress of the Italian Society of Medical and Interventional Radiology (Sirm), the gold medal was awarded to Diana Bracco, president and ceo of the Bracco Group, the Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci, and the president of CONI, Giovanni Malagò.

In explaining the award given to businesswoman Diana Bracco, Sirm speaks of the 'extraordinary dedication and passion with which she has contributed significantly to the innovation and development of radiology worldwide. The award handed over by Sirm President Andrea Giovagnoni and Congress President Gianpaolo Carrafiello comes a few decades after the group's founder, Cavaliere del Lavoro Fulvio Bracco, also received it: "I am honoured and proud to receive this recognition," said Diana Bracco, recalling an emotional reason. "On 10 November 1992," she said, "during the 35th SIRM National Conference at the Carlo Felice Theatre in Genoa, my father Cavaliere Lav. Fulvio Bracco received a similar award from the hands of the then President Carissimo Biagini. This medal therefore represents the seal on the continuity of Bracco's and our family's commitment to radiology and innovation.
