Two hundred and sixty million euros now, with the aim of almost doubling it by 2028. Mech-I-Tronic's growth strategy relies heavily on external development, as demonstrated by the operations announced today.
The group, specialising in advanced mechatronic solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and packaging industries, announces two acquisitions in the Americas: Apex Machine in the US and RK Ferramentaria in Brazil.
Transactions that together bring more than EUR 25 million in revenues within the group perimeter. Apex Machine (more than EUR 20 million) expands its expertise in automation and packaging for the medical and pharmaceutical sectors, while RK Ferramentaria (about EUR 4 million in revenues) strengthens its presence in high-performance moulds in South America. The Group, which has already completed six acquisitions in the last two years, bringing in over EUR 100 million, employs over 1,400 people.
Apex Machine, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale and with over 100 years of history, strengthens the Group's competencies along the entire industrial value chain through integrated solutions covering pre-processing, printing, quality control and downstream automation, as well as component handling and complete packaging systems. RK Ferramentaria, based in Curitiba, Brazil, specialises in the design and production of multi-cavity injection moulds, with strong expertise in high-speed and thin-wall technologies. Active in the food packaging, catering, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors, the company offers high-performance solutions for industrial tools throughout South America.
