Dpfp: UPB, trend estimates confirmed; outlook remains fragile and uncertain

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - On 29 September, the Board of the Parliamentary Budget Office (UPB) endorsed the trend macroeconomic forecasts set out in the 2026 Draft Fiscal Plan (DPFP), following a consultation process with the Ministry of the Economy over the past few weeks.

The forecasts have been validated as, on the whole, they do not deviate significantly from an acceptable range. The international outlook remains fragile and uncertain, and macroeconomic conditions may change significantly, warns the UPB.
