From a minute to a lifetime. This is how one could sum up the activity of Drivalia, the rental, leasing and mobility company of the Crédit Agricole Auto Bank group. A relatively young company, founded in 2022 after taking over from Leasys rent, it now operates in 15 European countries with around 200,000 vehicles in its fleet and a network of over 800 electrified Mobility Stores. It also has a network of 1,800 proprietary recharging stations, which is set to expand to 2,500 in 2026, underlining Drivalia's focus on energy transition. One of the few operators, if not the only one, to offer all mobility and rental products, it ranges from free-flow car sharing, to short-term rental, to long-term rental, to monthly subscriptions for driving a car: christened Drivalia CarCloud, to date it has more than 45,000 users in Italy and can be renewed monthly up to a maximum of one year, with a minimum duration of 30 days, after which it can be cancelled without penalty.
An interesting element of the subscription proposed by Drivalia is that it makes available to users cars that are not yet widespread in Italy but have interesting contents, such as the Chinese models Byd Seal U Dm-i plug-in hybrid and Omoda 5. In addition to sheltering from future residual value anxieties, the use of subscriptions in the five main European markets is expected to reach 8% of all new vehicle registrations by 2025.
Returning to car sharing, christened E+Share, the service is active in Turin, Milan and Rome with a fleet of electric Fiat 500s in free floating mode, with no parking restrictions. And if the electric 500 is perfect for city traffic, Drivalia also offers a fleet of camper vans for rentals of at least seven days. And in the name of the principles of the circular economy, Drivalia Future was born, which makes it possible to rent used cars or purchase vehicles directly online at the end of a leasing or rental contract.
All this can be managed through the Drivalia Planet app, a single point of access to all mobility solutions and already available in Italy to be later extended to other European markets. The main objective of the app is to make any operation, such as a rental request, car change or invoice verification, faster and easier. Furthermore, it allows users to register their profile, including the payment system, significantly reducing the time needed to book cars. Above all, thanks to digital check-in, it will be possible to pick up the rented vehicle at one of the Drivalia Mobility Stores without waiting.
