ECB: Nagel calls for unity and courage to unlock Europe’s full potential

(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - "Unity is becoming increasingly important at European level." This was stated by Joachim Nagel, President of the Bundesbank and a member of the ECB’s Governing Council. “The Governing Council of the European Central Bank continually demonstrates that joint European action works,” emphasised Nagel as he opened the press conference following the monetary policy meeting, expressing the hope that similar examples of effective cooperation would also become more widespread in other sectors. “With unity and courage, Europe will be able to unlock and realise its full potential,” he concluded.
