Ecobonus, from 17 June incentives for taxis and Ncc

Ecobonus for taxi and Ncc licence holders and LPG and methane fuel system installers. Start at 10 a.m. on 17 June 2024. On the site dedicated to the measure it will be possible to book subsidies for the purchase of non-polluting M1 category vehicles to be used for taxi or hire with driver services. The bonus is doubled within the limit of the de minimis regime provided for by EU Regulation no. 2023/2831. The incentive, introduced with the Prime Ministerial Decree of 20 May 2024, is promoted by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy. At the time of booking, in order to ascertain the existence of the requirements, it will be necessary to submit certain declarations.

For purchases made by natural persons, the declaration of acknowledgement of retention of ownership of the purchased vehicle for at least 12 months must be completed. For purchases made by legal persons, a declaration of acknowledgement of continued ownership of the purchased vehicle for at least 24 months is required. For purchases made by small and medium-sized enterprises for the granting of subsidies, a declaration in lieu of affidavit is required on the possession of the SME requirements, as well as a declaration in lieu of certification on the exercise of the activity of transport of goods on one's own account or on behalf of third parties. For purchases made by natural persons, pursuant to Article 3 of the Prime Ministerial Decree, a substitutive declaration made by the purchaser is required, certifying that the Isee value relative to the family nucleus to which he/she belongs is less than 30,000 euro and that the members of the same nucleus have not already benefited from the same contribution, accompanied by a copy of the identity document and tax code of the purchaser and the other members of the family nucleus.

Another novelty concerns the 'Ecobonus - Retrofit' measure, aimed at those who intend to install LPG and CNG fuel systems on M1 category vehicles. From 10 a.m. on 19 June 2024, installers will be able to register through the dealer area of the website. The start date for reserving 'Ecobonus - Retrofit' contributions will be announced at a later date, through a special notice published on the website of the Ministry of Enterprise and Industry.
