The trade fair dedicated to the circular economy and beyond ended in Rimini. Foreign visitors increased: +10%
Ecomondo 2025, attendance up 7%, foreign attendance up 10%. The 28th edition of the trade fair dedicated to the green, blue and circular economy - organised in Rimini by the Italian Exhibition Group - came to a close, reconfirming its role as an international hub for the ecological transition.
The numbers of the event: more than 1,700 exhibiting brands (against 1,600 in 2024), 18% of which from abroad, 166,000 square metres of floor space, more than 600 accredited journalists (15% from abroad).
The centrality of Ecomondo on the international scene, as a guide to a path towards a sustainable future that starts in Italy and that Europe is continuing to pursue decisively, was also underlined by the words of Environment Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin during his visit to the exhibition pavilions: 'We can say that we are among the first countries in the world in terms of recycling capacity. There is a lot of talk about rare earths and critical raw materials, but the biggest deposit we have is our waste. And the recycling capacity is fully manifested at this trade fair, a symbol of innovation and sustainability'.
