EcoVadis rewards Lumson's commitment to sustainability
Company receives Platinum Medal
EcoVadis, a company that certifies CSR performance and progress along the supply chain, awards the Italian cosmetics packaging company Lumson with the Platinum Medal for its commitment to best practice in sustainability and social responsibility and its continuous investment in training, infrastructure and people to improve its ESG performance.
"The Platinum Medal is the result of a journey that began in 2020, marked by important milestones, and which in 2025 was enriched with new goals," explains Nadia Valdameri, Sustainability & ESG Manager, "namely ISO 27001 certification (an international standard that defines the requirements for an Information Security Management System - SGSI) and ISO 37001 (an international standard for ABMS - Anti-Bribery Management Systems). While the former allows organisations to protect sensitive data (confidentiality, integrity, availability of information) through a risk management approach and security controls, the latter allows them to prevent, detect and respond to corruption, promoting a culture of integrity and transparency, and supporting compliance with anti-corruption laws. Voluntary standards, which reinforce Lumson's commitment to ethical and transparent business'.
With this recognition, the company confirms its commitment to integrating and promoting sustainable practices, positioning itself among the most virtuous companies worldwide. The Platinum recognition certifies the maturity of the ESG processes integrated in the company's governance and industrial strategies, a process that passes through the design of packaging solutions compatible with the principles of recyclability and circular economy; the optimisation of production processes with a view to energy efficiency and waste reduction; the selection and involvement of suppliers according to criteria of environmental, ethical and social responsibility; and the constant monitoring of performance through quantitative and qualitative indicators.
