The Council of Ministers has approved the decree authorising permanent appointments for the 2026/2027 academic year. The Minister: confirms his intention to invest in education
“Recruitment across all categories of school staff is further confirmation of the Government’s and the Ministry’s commitment to investing decisively in the future of education. We have said it, and now we are proving it with actions: we are bringing stability to the education system, ensuring educational continuity for pupils, improving the quality of teaching and giving tangible recognition to those who work in Italian schools every day with dedication and passion,” said the Minister for Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara.
Of particular significance is the permanent appointment of nearly 11,000 support teachers, “a crucial step towards truly guaranteeing the right to education for students with disabilities”, commented Minister Valditara.
