At Eicma 2024, Moto Guzzi removes the veil on its V7 Sport, a new declination of the model born in 2008 that revives the glories of the Guzzi dating back to 1967. After the upgrade in 2021, with the introduction of the 850 cc cubic capacity, for 2025 the V7 range offers new features in terms of both styling and technical equipment and expands by bringing back a legendary name: alongside the well-known V7 Stone and V7 Special debuts the new V7 Sport, the most technologically advanced V7 ever. The transverse air-cooled V-twin with shaft drive complies with the new Euro 5+ standard and has undergone significant changes, including the adoption of the Ride-by-Wire multimap throttle which, in addition to ensuring more precise and customisable throttle management, brings cruise control. Power output increases by 4% (from 65 to 67.3 hp), while the torque curve is now much more full-bodied and linear: it rises from 73 Nm to 79 Nm, of which 95% is already available at just 3,500 rpm. Then comes a new upside-down fork, dual disc front brake, a Sport riding mode dedicated to the model (in addition to Road and Rain) and the inertial platform, which allows more refined management of traction control and enables Cornering Abs functionality. The lines of the 21-litre metal tank remain unchanged, beneath which the heads of the 90° V-twin engine emerge. The new V7 Sport is also distinguished by numerous details such as the new light alloy wheel rims with sporty design, the aluminium headlight supports, the rear view mirrors on the sides of the handlebars, the aluminium inserts on the side panels and the sport saddle with red stitching. The Moto Guzzi V7 Sport will be available with two graphic variants: Grigio Lario and Verde Legnano, historical colouring of the first V7 Sport.
