Eicma 2025, Aprilia Sr Gt 400, what the new travel scooter looks like

It is called Sr Gt 400 and is Aprilia's new scooter for 2026. A direct descendant of Aprilia's motorbike culture, it is designed to tackle any route: agile and nippy in the metropolitan environment and at the same time comfortable and unstoppable even on adventurous journeys.

It is a 100% Aprilia machine because of the qualities of its completely new chassis designed to have rigour and control on the road, but also capable of pushing itself off the tarmac, thanks also to long travel suspension (the motorcycle-type fork has a double anchor plate to the frame) and tyres with a greater tread. Riding fun is ensured by the improved power-to-weight ratio: 186 kg in running order for 36 hp delivered by its liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The Sr Gt 400 comes standard with 5" tft instrumentation and keyless system; in addition, traction control and Abs are both adjustable and excludable. The under-seat compartment can accommodate a full-face helmet and other items, while the fairing is height adjustable to five positions.
