Eicma 2025, Honda presents the Cb1000GT and its first electric motorbike, the WN7
Honda unveils the powerful Cb1000GT sport tourer, new models equipped with E-Clutch and shows its plans for e-mobility
Key points
Honda is today presenting the novelties of its 2026 range at the Milan Motor Show 2025; debuting here are the new Cb1000Gt sport tourer and Honda's first electric motorbike, the WN7.
Sporty for travelling
First electric motorcycle
Honda's first electric motorbike, the Wn7, makes its debut in Milan. Based on the 'Be the Wind' concept, it is designed to offer a smooth, silent ride with instantaneous acceleration typical of electric motors. The Wn7 is powered by a 9.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack and an 18 kW motor, and can therefore be driven by A2 licence holders. It offers a range of 140 km and supports both home charging and the Ccs2 standard for cars, which allows 'top up' from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Equipment includes full LED lighting, frameless chassis with load-bearing battery pack shell, Walking Mode (forward and reverse), 4 Riding Modes, 4 levels of regenerative engine braking, Selectable speed limit assist (SSLA), Abs Cornering and Honda Selectable torque control (Hstc). Still on the subject of electric mobility, Honda also unveiled the V3R 900 E-Compressor prototype, powered by the new V3 engine with electronically managed compressor: the first time in the world that such an application has been applied to a motorbike. An evolution of the V3 concept presented last year at Eicma, the liquid-cooled engine with 75° V-barrel has a displacement of 900 cc and, thanks to the electronically managed compressor, offers performance comparable to a 1200 cc engine, guaranteeing torque and responsiveness at any rpm.
Honda states that 'development of the prototype will continue in order to create a motorbike that offers unprecedented riding pleasure'.
