Sexual abuse of children behind the break-up of the relationship between Elon Musk and his father Errol.
This is what emerges from the investigation by the American newspaper The New York Times, which cites police and court documents, as well as testimony from family members and social workers.
Years of harassment, between South Africa - the Musk family's home country - and California, both against his children and those previously had by his female companions.
There are reportedly five victims. The first case dates back to 1993, in South Africa, where Errol Musk, now 79 years old and with three marriages behind him, was born.
The four-year-old stepdaughter allegedly told relatives that she had 'been touched' inappropriately; ten years later, she had caught her stepfather 'sniffing her underwear'.
