Enel, 9-month profit rises to 5.7 billion, down Italy margins

Enel's board of directors approved the interim report for the nine months ended 30 September 2025 with the group's ordinary net profit for the nine months at €5,703 million. It was €5,455 million in the nine months of 2024, +4.5%. Ordinary Ebitda was EUR 17,262 million (EUR 17,1091 million in the nine months of 2024, +0.9%) despite a reduction in margins in Italy, both in retail due to lower average prices charged to customers and in generation, mainly due to lower availability of the water resource. This was more than offset by the positive contribution from Spain and Latin America.
