Energy, storage and AI: SolaX Power's global strategy
The energy transition has entered a new phase: no longer just renewable production, but smart management and economic value of energy. Decarbonisation, energy security, digitisation of networks and the growth of electrification are redefining economic models and production chains. Against this backdrop, SolaX Power is positioned as a global leader in smart energy.
Founded in 2012 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 688717.SH), SolaX Power is now present in more than 110 countries, with more than 1.5 million systems installed, over 3,000 employees and more than 1,000 R&D specialists.
From inverter production to integrated energy ecosystem
SolaX is not only a manufacturer of inverters or storage systems: it is a player that develops a complete ecosystem in which photovoltaics, batteries, electric vehicle charging, heat pumps and digital platforms interact in a coordinated manner.
37% of the staff is dedicated to R&D, with more than 338 global patents and 18% of turnover invested in technological innovation.
The industrial structure allows for 100% in-house development of solutions, guaranteeing control of the technology supply chain and rapid product evolution.
Integration of AI is one of the distinguishing features: the AI Energy Management System and AI Battery Management System optimise loads, charge/discharge cycles and operating costs, while the AI XCopilot provides continuous intelligent support.
The goal is not only to generate renewable energy, but to maximise its economic value.
Industrial capacity and global scalability
Industrial strength is one of SolaX Power's main competitive drivers. With 240,000 m2 of production area and an annual capacity of 20 GW of inverters and 10 GWh of batteries, the group ranks among the leading global players. In addition, a new utility-scale plant is under development with a planned capacity of 30 GWh per year and a production line for 1 million heat pumps.
The industrial infrastructure allows the group to cover the main market segments:
- Residential, with hybrid high and low voltage inverters, ESS all-in-one systems, modular LFP batteries, plug-and-play microinverters, EV columns and integrated heat pumps.
- Commercial & Industrial (C&I), with ESS systems up to 1 MWh, high power string inverters and DC fast charging up to 360 kW.
- Utility-scale, with containerized solutions up to 5 MWh per unit and systems up to 7.5 MW, as well as string inverters up to 350 kW for large-scale installations
Governance, safety and international credibility
SolaX operates to international standards of quality, safety and sustainability, with over 1.100 global certifications including ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001.
Cybersecurity and data protection are a strategic pillar, with SOC 2 Type 2 certifications, GDPR compliance and European standards for the security of connected devices.
In a context where the energy infrastructure is increasingly digital, cyber resilience becomes a competitive factor.
In parallel, the group's first published ESG Report reinforces its commitment to transparency, environmental responsibility and sustainable governance, consolidating its positioning as a responsible player in the global energy transition.
Global presence, local roots
With operations in Europe, Asia, the Americas and Australia, more than 700 international partners and a 24/7 support structure with response times of up to 12 hours, SolaX combines global reach and local presence.
In 2025, SolaX Power officially launched its Italian subsidiary, marking a strategic step on the path of European consolidation.
Italy represents a strategic context for the development of storage, advanced self-consumption and energy communities, and the establishment of the local company testifies to SolaX's willingness to invest structurally in the country.
The Italian subsidiary was created with the aim of guaranteeing commercial presence, dedicated technical support and direct collaboration with distributors, installers, EPCs and industrial operators, accompanying the growth of the national storage market.
A long-term industrial vision
The vision of SolaX Power is summed up in the claim "With SolaX, you've got the power" - a message that reflects a key principle - to make energy not only available, but manageable, controllable and strategic for those who produce and consume it.
The perspective, however, goes beyond the single product or the single technology.
It is to contribute to the construction of a new energy model: distributed, digital, interconnected and data-driven. A model in which production and consumption dialogue in real time, storage becomes enabling infrastructure and artificial intelligence optimises flows, costs and performance.
In this scenario, energy becomes a strategic lever of industrial competitiveness and economic autonomy.
