(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - EssilorLuxottica closed the third quarter of 2026 with revenue of approximately 7.49 billion (7,486 million), up 9 per cent at current exchange rates and 7.2 per cent at constant exchange rates, following the double-digit growth recorded last year. Revenue performance is underpinned by solid growth in the traditional Eyecare & Medtech, which encompasses all the Group’s activities with the exception of wearables (AI glasses and hearing glasses), with year-on-year growth of over 6 per cent (at constant exchange rates) both in the quarter and in the first nine months of the year. The myopia management portfolio grew by 24%¹ in both the quarter and the first nine months of the year. Wearables (AI glasses and Nuance Audio) recorded growth of 20% in the third quarter. The Professional Solutions segment recorded revenue of 3.4 billion, up 3.4 per cent at constant exchange rates compared with the third quarter of 2025 (+5.3 per cent at current exchange rates).
All geographical regions contributed to the Group’s growth, with Direct to Consumer in the EMEA region and Asia-Pacific recording double-digit growth.
In the long-term outlook, the group expects, on average over the next five years and at constant exchange rates, to achieve solid growth in total revenue, with adjusted operating profit growing at a broadly similar rate.
