Ethos Profumerie and L'Oréal recycle a thousand perfume bottles
With the collected waste, Rehub made a designer vase, Releaf
Ethos Profumerie and L'Oréal recycled a thousand perfume bottles and waste collected through the 'More Sustainable Luxury' initiative.
Now in its second year, the initiative provided an immediate discount of 20 euros - for the purchase of a refillable perfume or a refill size of at least 30ml of the fragrances Lancôme, Prada, Mugler or Yves Saint Laurent Beauté - for those who brought an empty bottle to participating perfumeries between 22 April and 12 May.
In this way, one thousand perfume bottles were collected, which were then entrusted to Rehub - a Murano-based start-up specialising in the transformation of glass waste into real objects of design and décor - which, with these scraps, created the Releaf vase that will be given away in participating perfumeries with the purchase of a refill of Lancôme, Mugler, Prada or Yves Saint Laurent fragrances.
