European recognition for the Milan-based start-up Home SetV®, creator of a platform that aims to redefine professional online communication. The European Patent Office (EPO) has granted the company its first European patent, with registration number 4295573. The European patent, which follows three patents already obtained in Italy, marks a step forward in terms of credibility and international value for Home SetV®, which was founded in Milan and now intends to expand beyond national borders. The patent protects the technological architecture of the integrated Home SetV® system, which will soon be enriched by the Avrah™ proprietary software, by immersive virtual sets and, in the future, by real-time automatic direction logics.
"We imagined a future where even the screen becomes a place to live, and today that future is patented throughout Europe," commented Jacopo Mascitelli, founder and engineer with an educational background at Stanford, recently included by Forbes magazine among the Under 30 of 2025.
The company is integrating generative artificial intelligence for the creation and management of virtual environments, with the aim of making digital scenes increasingly realistic and immersive. Precisely on the application of AI in its platform, Mascitelli was recently a guest speaker at the 'Stati Generali dell'Innovazione' in Parma. The European recognition comes on the eve of an extraordinary shareholders' meeting, called for Monday 26 May. On this occasion, the company's new growth plan will be presented, supported by a €5 million capital increase, a first tranche of which will be reserved for current shareholders.
