Everli, an online shopping platform, wants to develop its local presence by strengthening its service in a dozen provinces, from Trentino Alto Adige to Campania. The recruiting campaign for 50 employees, who will be hired as self-employed workers with the task of doing the shopping for the customer and delivering it to their homes, has started. A car is required and the cities involved in the search are: Alessandria, Sanremo, Imperia, Como, Cantù, Bolzano, Bassano del Grappa, Venice, Florence, Scandicci, Rimini, Riccione, Misano Adriatico, San Mauro Pascoli, Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna, Frascati, Pozzuoli, San Giorgio a Cremano, Salerno, L'Aquila. The company has a turnover of over EUR 100 million and was acquired by Palella Holdings last February. On 19 February, it signed an agreement with the main trade unions and Assogrocery to provide workers with a set of protections ranging from a minimum remuneration per assignment on a monthly basis, increased levels of occupational safety, and appropriate protections in case of illness, injury, and maternity. The agreement also provides the freedom for the operator to decide when to work: during the week, evenings, all day, weekends, or for a few hours. A model that ensures autonomy and flexibility for the operator while the company offers compensation for each order delivered and weekly payment. "The launch of the first phase of a shopper search is concrete evidence of Everli's desire to grow further and to lay the foundations for a solid and lasting development," says Jonathan Hannestad, CEO of Everli. "Employment as a shopper is a very interesting opportunity for people who want to enter the world of work in an autonomous and flexible way or who want to supplement their income.
Founded in 2014, Everli is Italy's leading home shopping operator. The company's mission is to give people more peace of mind by reducing the complexities of shopping: by eliminating queues, lines for parking and heavy bags, Everli allows users to focus only on the pleasant aspect of shopping, wherever they are. With an extensive network of partnerships with over 70 retail and specialised shops, as well as exclusive offers on top brands, customers can enjoy an innovative, simple and safe shopping experience without worries. Everli also offers data analysis and market research services to leading consumer and retail companies.
Palella Holdings is the family office of Salvatore Palella, an Italian-American entrepreneur who, among other things, founded Helbiz, a global electric micromobility company based in the US. The Italian subsidiary of Helbiz was created in 2018 and over a five-year period has accumulated losses of more than €20 million.
