Factory 5.0: the industry of tomorrow

Radio 24’s Digital Round Table, ‘Fabbrica 5.0: the industry of tomorrow’, scheduled for 23 September from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm, broadcast live from Radio 24’s studios, will explore the evolution of the manufacturing sector towards a production model in which digitalisation, artificial intelligence and sustainability converge, placing people at the heart of the processes.

Digital transformation is now a strategic driver for tackling global markets, the growing complexity of supply chains and new environmental challenges. Advanced technologies, automation, digital twins and data management platforms are, in fact, making production more efficient, connected and secure.

The discussion will be led by Enrico Pagliarini, journalist and presenter of “2024”, a programme onRadio 24 on technology and the digital world, who will be in conversation with some of the leading figures in innovation in Italia: Stefano Linari, founder and CEO of Alleantia; Fabio Menichini, VP at Brembo Solutions; Alessio Salvadori, CEO of Le Officine Riunite Udine Spa; and Marco Taisch, full professor at the Politecnico di Milano and president of the MADE Competence Centre for Industry 4.0. Drawing on their experience and expertise, they will analyse the main development scenarios, the opportunities offered by new technologies and the strategies required to build the industry of the future.
