Incident during Monza-Sassuolo: around the quarter-hour mark of the second half, one of the Neroverdi fans fell from the railing demoting the Emilian supporters' area, from a height of about 3 metres. The match was suspended to allow help to arrive. After an interruption of about 5 minutes, the match resumed. The fan was crouching at the protective railing when he fell to the ground from a height of about 3 metres.
The Sassuolo fan hit his head but is conscious and not seriously injured. He is a 25-year-old young man who, according to reports, was straddling the balustrade, lost his balance and fell from a height of about 3 metres. He was then transported as a precautionary measure to the San Gerardo hospital in Monza to undergo appropriate examinations for suspected head trauma.
