Between 21 and 24 February in the halls of Rho Fiera Milano will be joined by Fashion &Jewels, Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni, The One Milano, Micam and Mipel, which from next September will be joined by Lineapelle and Simac Tanning Tech
There will be 1,777 brands, 45% of which from abroad, present at the first edition of Fashion link Milano, the new trade fair ecosystem designed for a shared culture around high quality fashion and accessories. Presented in Milan, the new project brings together five six-monthly events in the halls of Rho Fiera Milano, namely Milano Fashion &Jewels, Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni, The One Milano, Micam and Mipel. From next September there will be seven, also aggregating Lineapelle (the most important international exhibition dedicated to the sectors of leather, accessories, components, materials and models for footwear, leather goods, clothing and furnishing), brought forward to the February edition by about ten days for logistical reasons due to the transformation of some Rho pavilions into Olympic venues, and Simac Tanning Tech, which is annual, dedicated to machinery and technology for the footwear, leather goods and tanning industries.
"At a time of change in consumption and distribution systems, we are trying to give visitors and buyers the opportunity to see more products, more trends, to have more opportunities for collaboration, and we believe that in this way we are generating more value for the Italian and international production chains," said Emanuele Guido, Head of Home, Fashion and Leisure Exhibitions at Fiera.
The appointment will therefore start on Saturday 21 February, when Milano Fashion&Jewels (the reference point for bijou, fashion accessories and everyday clothing), Sì Sposaitalia Collezioni (the leading event in Italia for the bridal, wedding and ceremony sector) and The One Milano (the international exhibition dedicated to outerwear and haut-à-porter) will open (until the 23rd). On 22 February, until the 24th, Micam Milano (the leading global event dedicated to footwear) and Mipel (international event dedicated to leather goods and fashion accessories) will open instead. During the four days, open to sector operators, international buyers are expected, in particular from Germany, Greece, Spain, China, Japan, South Korea, India, Turkey, South Africa, Canada, USA, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Georgia.
From the September edition, Fashion link Milano Lineapelle (an international event for leather, accessories, components, synthetics, fabrics and models for footwear, leather goods, clothing and upholstery) and Simac Tanning Tech will merge into Fashion link Milano
