FederlegnoArredo: Elia Vismara appointed as chair
Proposed by the General Council for the period 2026–2030. A meeting will be held at the end of October to elect Claudio Feltrin’s successor as head of the Federation
The General Council of FederlegnoArredo, which met in Milan, has nominated Elia Vismara as a candidate for the presidency of the federation for the next four-year term, 2026–2030, taking over from Claudio Feltrin, who has led the organisation for the past six years. Vismara is the current president of Assobagno.
A statement explains that the final stage of the election process is now underway: at a subsequent general council meeting, scheduled to take place by the end of September, the president-elect will present his programme for his term of office and the presidential team that will support him over the next four years. It will then be the Federlegnoarredo General Assembly, to be convened on 27 October in Milan, that will elect the new president.
“I accept the trust that the members have placed in me with a deep sense of responsibility, and I wish to express my most sincere thanks to them all,” said Vismara. “Should the October general meeting confirm me as head of the federation, I would take on this role in a spirit of service and with a commitment to make the experience and expertise I have gained over the years within Federlegnoarredo available to the entire association network.”
