Feltrinelli, new supplementary agreement and bonus for 1,200 workers arrives
Agreement between company and trade unions: the value of meal vouchers is increased, the bonus system is rethought and new leave is introduced

For the 1,200 workers of Feltrinelli/Finlibri comes the new company integrative contract, after the company signed the agreement with Filcams Cgil, Fisascat Cisl and Uiltucs. According to the trade unions, "the results obtained are the fruit of collective work," commented the three unions, "and of the determination with which each and every one of them, in the sales outlets, in the territories, and at national tables, contributed to bringing forward the negotiations, thus enabling them to overcome together the difficulties encountered and to achieve this important result. The agreement came after a year of negotiations in which there was no lack of tense moments, including a strike.
The economic part
.As a union note explains, among the new features is the increase in meal vouchers for all workers, full-time and part-time, from EUR 6 to EUR 7.50. In addition, the system of the performance bonus has been reformulated with the introduction of a guaranteed minimum threshold and the extension to all workers with an open-ended contract.
Work-Life Balance
.The agreement also improves tools for parenting and work-life balance management, with the introduction or strengthening of leave for minor children, medical examinations, study, unpaid leave, and marriage leave also for civil unions/foreign marriages. In addition, the system of labour relations is strengthened and redefined, with a doubling of the number of hours of leave, and innovative measures on equal opportunities and inclusion are introduced, primarily the recognition of career aliases in the event of identity changes. Sick leave and 100 per cent pay supplement from day 1 to day 20, regardless of the number of events, are eliminated. The job committee is also established with the aim of a clear and shared document on roles and professional development within the company.
