Ferretti: Anastassov, I don’t want to change the club – I want to make it even bigger
In a letter to staff: ‘The best is yet to come’
(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - "I haven’t come to change the Ferretti Group. I have come to help Ferretti Group become even more Ferretti Group.” This is an excerpt from the letter that the group’s CEO, Stassi Anastassov, sent to the group’s employees, in which he clearly promises that there will be no changes regarding “our brands, our craftsmanship and our Italian spirit. I have discovered that our greatest competitive advantage is not hidden in a balance sheet. It is visible every day, across seven extraordinary brands. Most companies take decades to build a single iconic brand. We have inherited seven. This is not a portfolio. It is a responsibility. And it cannot be copied.” The CEO sees his “responsibility not in leaving his mark on the Ferretti Group, but in protecting the distinctive characteristics of each of our brands — the legacy of the founders, designers and artisans — and in making them even more valuable. And this is the philosophy behind everything we will do together. The solution to every business challenge we face is not to become less like the Ferretti Group. It is to become more like the Ferretti Group.” According to the top executive, “our future will not be built by becoming someone else. It will be built by becoming the best version of ourselves. More proudly Italian. More relentlessly focused on our brands. More obsessed with quality. More determined to delight every owner. This is the Ferretti I believe in. And I am convinced that the best is yet to come.”
