Fiat 500 Hybrid: debut in dealerships. Here's how much it costs

The Fiat 500 Hybrid enters the Turin-based manufacturer's car range, and does so in four trim versions and, of course, their prices. The cheapest version is the 'Pop', which costs 19,900 euro on a turnkey basis. For this model Stellantis provides a promotional price of 16,950 euro, active in the case of scrapping and only if financing is provided by Stellantis Financial Services Italia. The price goes up for the 'Torino' trim, which you can take home for 20,900 euros. With 500 euros more you can have the 'Icon' trim (21,400 euros), while the top of the offer is the 'La Prima' version that costs, again turnkey, 24,400 euros.

Powering the new 500 hybrid is the three-cylinder 1.0 FireFly engine with 12-volt mild-hybrid technology (a very light hybrid), mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. No automatic transmission, which many competitors in this segment also offer and which would certainly be appreciated in city driving. As for the engine, we are talking about a 999 cc, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine that delivers a maximum of 65 hp and a maximum torque of 92 Nm at 3,500 rpm. The same powertrain - made in Termoli - that the Turin-based manufacturer adopts for the Panda Hybrid built in Pomigliano. So there is nothing 'new' at least in the pure engine aspect. But the car, destined mainly to cope with city traffic, should, with this configuration, be thrifty in terms of consumption and low in pollution. In fact, according to data released by Stellantis, they indicate consumption of 5.3/100 km for a Co2 emission of 120 g per kilometre.
