Fiat Grizzly Fastback: everything you need to know about the Grande Panda’s SUV coupé cousin

It’s called the Fiat Grizzly Fastback and is the Turin-based brand’s first coupé SUV to be sold in Europe. Built on the Smart Car platform – the same one used by a long list of models including the Grande Panda, Citroën C3 and C3 Aircross – the Fastback is the coupé version of the new Grizzly SUV. Manufactured at the Kenitra plant in Morocco, it will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show in October and is set to go on sale by the final quarter of 2026. Prices have not yet been announced, but the entry-level version is expected to be priced at under 25,000 euros.

Whilst we await the full technical specifications, the Fiat Grizzly Fastback is stated to be 4.50 metres long and to have a load capacity of no less than 600 litres. The Grizzly is slightly shorter, with a stated length of 4.40 metres.

The interior of the Fiat Grizzly Fastback features a 10-inch screen in the centre of the dashboard, from which the infotainment system – which may include Google services – can be operated. The interior differs from that of the Grande Panda but retains a long list of storage compartments, underlining its practical nature and suitability for everyday use.

The Fiat Grizzly Fastback will be available with petrol, hybrid and electric powertrains, and with either a manual or automatic gearbox, ensuring a multi-energy range right from launch. As for internal combustion engines, the base model will feature a 1.2-litre three-cylinder engine, with a claimed power output of 145 cavalli; crucially, it will avoid the reliability issues associated with PureTech engines thanks to its chain-driven timing system and the series of technical innovations introduced by the Turbo 100 engine.
