Fiat Grizzly, first official photo after 'leak' of news and images
Compact SUV debuts, produced in Kenitra, Morocco, also in a fastback version and built on the platform of the Grande Panda
Fiat Grizzly is finally revealed with standard and fastback bodywork, i.e. similar to suv coupé volumes, after the first image shown during Stellantis' Investor Day but above all after the 'stolen photos' taken during the photo shoot. Because as has already happened in the past, with the spy photos of the Maserati GranCabrio and the Lancia Ypsilon that ended up in a pond, it is not clear whether the Stellantis security division has loosened the controls or whether this is a marketing strategy designed to create interest in the model.
Fiat Grizzly 2026, platform and engines
Built in Kenitra, Morocco and built on the Stellantis smart car platform, used by a long list of group models such as the Grande Panda, Opel Frontera and Citroen C3 standard and Aircross, the Grizzly will arrive in standard and fastback versions. While we wait to see the full range, the Grizzly should be offered with petrol, hybrid and electric engines, following the modular logic already seen within the Stellantis group. For the thermal versions, the 1.2 turbo is expected in the latest evolution with chain distribution, in manual petrol configuration with 100 bhp and in hybrid variant with automatic transmission, with power outputs that could be between 110 and 145 bhp. The battery alternative should take up the technical scheme of its cousins Citroën C3 Aircross and Opel Frontera, with a 113 horsepower electric motor and 44 or 52 kWh batteries, for approved autonomies in the order of just over 300 or around 400 kilometres. Prices are expected to start at around EUR 25,000, with arrival at dealerships by the end of 2026.
