Key points
A partnership that envisages a gradual path of integration, leading to the creation of one of Europe's leading players in the segment of restoration and structural reinforcement of existing buildings.
The compartment
The partnership involves Fibre Net, a Spa of reference in Italia and Europe in structural reinforcement systems and composite materials for the building and infrastructure sector, which announces the signing of a strategic agreement aimed at joining forces with Kerakoll, a B Corp certified Benefit company operating internationally in the construction sector.
The sector is of key importance both in the national territory - where 50 per cent of the residential area is more than 50 years old and 91 per cent of the buildings are exposed to seismic risk - and in the European context (including Great Britain), where more than 30 per cent of residential square metres were built before 1945 .
The new industrial reality resulting from the merger of the two companies aims to position itself as a reference operator in terms of size in Italia. The joint development plan envisages exceeding 150 million euro in revenues at a European level in the segment of structural repair and reinforcement.
