Fiera Milano confirms itself as international hub Revenues +26% in 9 months

Fiera Milano confirms its attractiveness and strengthens its role as an international hub for large travelling events. These include Cphi, dedicated to the pharmaceutical industry, which will return to Milan next year, as well as Emo (machine tools), scheduled for 2017, and the World Gas Conference, for the first time assigned to the Lombard capital in 2028.

The exhibition group is also continuing its internationalisation strategy with the launch of Host - one of the most important events it owns - in the United States from 2027, thanks to the agreement reached with Nafem (North America Association of Food Equipment).

Two lines of development that - combined with the growth of the congress and leisure segments - allowed Fiera Milano to close the first nine months of the year with €231.8 million in revenues, an increase of 25.7% compared to 2024 (which, despite being an even-numbered and therefore traditionally weaker year, had been a record year) and 30.4% compared to the last odd-numbered year, 2023.

After all, the strategic decision to strengthen the proposal by attracting international trade fair and congress events to Milan, as well as hosting sporting, musical and artistic events, responds precisely to the need to deseasonalise the calendar of events and activities. "In the first nine months of 2025 Fiera Milano has confirmed a solid and sustained growth trajectory, bearing witness to a valid business model capable of generating value on an ongoing basis," explains CEO and General Manager Francesco Conci.

EBITDA increased by 14.7% to 71.6 million and net profit by 9.5% to 17.1 million. The net financial position showed cash of EUR 113.8m (EUR 77.8m at the end of 2024), with over EUR 35m of cash generated in the nine months. Results 'better than expected', reads the note issued at the end of the board meeting: 'Although the macroeconomic context remains characterised by elements of uncertainty and volatility, which have led to a slowdown in some market segments, the diversification of the exhibition portfolio and the solid performance of the other business lines, in particular the congress and services segment, have more than compensated for these dynamics, supporting the group's overall profitability'. This is why the outlook remains positive: 'We look forward to the fourth quarter with confidence, and we confirm the 2025 guidance, with expected revenues between €350 and €370 million and Ebitda between €115 and €125 million,' Conci added.
