Fila: launches placement of 7% of Indian Doms; stake will not fall below 19%
Fila has launched a placement of up to 4,248,184 ordinary shares in the Indian company Doms, representing a total of up to approximately 7% of the company’s share capital. At current prices, the block is worth around €90 million. The placement – according to a statement – will be carried out via an accelerated bookbuilding process on the market, which will commence immediately. Upon completion of the placement, Fila – which currently holds approximately 26% of Doms’ share capital – will reduce its stake to a level of no less than 19%. The Indian company “continues, and will continue, to represent a key industrial partner for Fila”. BNP Paribas and J.P. Morgan have been appointed to act as Joint Bookrunners in relation to the placement. Fila shares on the Milan Stock Exchange surged, rising by 9%.
