Following the death of the chairman, Claudio Graziano, the Fincantieri group's board of directors distributed the powers delegated to the general. The board assigned to the CEO, Pierroberto Folgiero, on an interim basis, the supervision and coordination of the internal control system of the company and its subsidiaries; the supervision and coordination of the development and governance of the company's security system, including activities (as per Article 12 et seq. of the Prime Minister's Decree of 22 July 2011) concerning the administrative protection of state secrets and classified information, and the management of relations and relationships on industrial security matters with the National Security Authority.
Supervision and coordination of the internal audit function remain in the hands of the board of directors. The company will, explains a note, undertake the activities to replace the new chairman, in accordance with the provisions of the articles of association and the succession plan.
