Fincantieri's diffuse shareholding plan had an adhesion rate of 22% among employees in the countries involved: this means that almost one in five workers adhered. In Italy, the rate rises to 97% among managers and 69% among middle managers.

Participation in the initiative, created to strengthen the sense of belonging to the group of all personnel, was significant in Italy, Norway and the United States. Luciano Sale, Fincantieri's human resources and real estate director, emphasises that 'our personnel are the backbone of Fincantieri's future'. The wide participation, particularly of management, "in this share ownership plan confirms the employees' harmony and trust in the direction taken by the company and their desire to be an integral part of the results that await us," the manager continues. Such adhesion highlights the extent to which our values of sustainable growth and innovation are shared. "With its programme, Fincantieri offers employees the opportunity to invest in shares on a voluntary basis and at advantageous conditions, encouraging active participation in the company's growth. As a further incentive, explains a group note, it is envisaged that in 2025 participants in the plan will receive an additional package of shares, a symbol of the joint commitment to responsible and lasting growth, capable of generating value for all stakeholders.
