This was stated by a Fininvest spokesperson following reports in *La Nuova Sardegna* regarding the sale of Silvio Berlusconi’s historic Sardinian residence to Constellation Hotels Holding, a Luxembourg-based investment company, the property arm of the Qatari Al Thani family, notably Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim.

Villa Certosa, overlooking the Gulf of Marinella, is a magnificent ultra-luxury residence, surrounded by its vast grounds, seven outdoor swimming pools, a spa, seven guest villas, cottages, football pitches, golf courses, children’s playgrounds, a medicinal herb garden, Neptune’s Grotto, a helipad, an artificial volcano, a nuclear bunker and a thalassotherapy centre.
