Finish Group acquires Termoacustica Pugliese and aims for 20 million in revenue by 2026
The Bari-based group has acquired a distributor with a turnover of around 2 million and is strengthening its network across Puglia and Basilicata. The Finish Decor format is making its debut in Monopoli, whilst new production investments are being considered in the province of Bari
Metal profiles for plasterboard, drywall systems and insulation. It is in the field of lightweight construction that the Finish Group has built its history in Puglia since 1956, and it is now adding a new dimension to its external operations: the Bari-based group has acquired Termoacustica Pugliese, a long-established distribution company with turnover of around 2 million euros. This transaction is worth around one-tenth of the target set for 2026: an aggregate turnover of around 20 million.
The acquired company is being integrated into the Finish Village network, the group’s distribution arm, thereby consolidating its presence across Puglia and Basilicata. For Chief Executive Valentino Mangini, this is “one piece of a wider project”, through which the group intends to integrate “from distribution to production, right through to new models of specialisation”. The stated aim is to “grow and compete with national players” whilst maintaining strong local roots.
The plan is being rolled out on two further fronts. The first is retail: a new outlet is set to open in Monopoli, marking the launch of Finish Decor, a concept dedicated to colour, finishes and decoration. The format aims to move beyond the traditional paint shop model, shifting the focus from the sale of individual products to coordinated solutions and advice on choosing finishes. The second is manufacturing: the Finish Industry division currently has 5,000 square metres of production space, and the group is working on new investments in the province of Bari.
The target market includes plasterboard, suspended ceilings, thermal and acoustic insulation, external cladding, internal partitions and finishes – a segment which, according to the group, is playing an increasingly significant role in the refurbishment of the building stock, energy efficiency and the industrialisation of on-site construction processes.
