"There is no negotiation underway by the Warner Bros. Discovery group for the acquisition of La7's news arm: this is what Ansa learns from sources inside the company. The clarification comes after the indiscretions launched by Fiorello at Viva Rai2!'. In the end Warner Bros. Discovery, the publisher that, even more so now after the Amadeus hit, is counting on positioning itself as the third pole of the TV market, has had to resort to denial. After all, between the serious and the facetious, Viva Rai2! has been the nerve centre of these 'Love it or hate it' days at RAI, with the rumours, which later became reality, of Amadeus' divorce from RAI.

A role that Fiorello liked and liked a lot. After all, how can you blame him? "Rai is running for cover, aiming to armour the last remaining big names. It seems that Carlo Conti has been locked in a closet on the third floor of Viale Mazzini,' joked the Sicilian showman during the live broadcast. In which there is plenty of time to address another topic, not at all trivial after the statements by the mayor of Sanremo, Alberto Biancheri, to the LaPresse agency: 'Is there a risk for Rai to lose the Sanremo Festival? I have no idea. At the moment until the 2025 Festival there is the convention, then who knows'. He's doing the death lap, after Rai he's been at La7, now he's skipping the 8 and going to the Nove', Fiorello continues, reading a newspaper. Until the final blow: 'Warner is negotiating to buy La7's journalistic pole,' he continues, 'Mentana already has a tag with the words "20% discount" on it, he is already leaving. As soon as they buy the information they have already made the third pole: Rai1, Channel 5 and the Nine'.

From La7 they use irony to reply to what the broadcaster refuses to consider except as ironic statements: 'Dear Fiore, we are fine here. Less ironic, as mentioned, was the response of a Warner Bros. Discovery now preparing to announce the arrival of Amadeus at channel Nine from next season. Fiorello no: he has already made it known that he has a contract with his couch. And in any case, in the summer Rai will aim to strike again to keep the Sicilian showman in house.

In the meantime, one can only wait for the next 'Viva Rai2!' for another - we can swear by it - instalment of the saga.
