Fire at the Venice Biennale: Serbia pavilion involved
The roof outside caught fire, without involving anyone and without the damage extending to the furniture, exhibition or other structures
A fire broke out on the roof of the Serbia pavilion building at the Venice Biennale. No persons were involved. Two Apl (Autopompe Lagunari) from the Venice Fire Brigade detachment responded to the scene, supported by a boat from the Nucleo Nautico di Marittima.
The flames broke out during the insulation of the structure. The strong wind blew the burnt and cleared materials, forcing the fire brigade to intervene several times.
