First home relief and 200 euro more per month: the PDL for the right to stay in Italy
The bill developed by the Dems envisages a net increase in the pay packet of 200 euro per month for those under 35; non-repayable subsidies for innovative youth entrepreneurship in inland areas and facilities for buying and renting a first house
Leaving is a legitimate choice but it cannot be an obligation. This is supported by Elly Schlein's PD, which has drafted a bill on the 'right to stay in Italia'. A Pdl that particularly concerns the under-35s.
Labour and Wages
The bill drafted by the Dems envisages a net increase in the pay packet of 200 euro per month for those under 35; non-repayable contributions for innovative youth entrepreneurship in inland areas; an extraordinary recruitment plan in the municipalities of inland areas for those under 35, for a more effective and efficient public administration; a tax credit for companies that use and incentivise remote work.
The portal to return
The proposal includes the creation of a portal dedicated to those who decide to return 'I choose Italia' with information for those returning from abroad and simple and clear routes for relocation.
Housing, university and mobility
The pre-condition, according to the PD, is that housing be affordable for young people. To this end, subsidies are envisaged for the purchase and rental of the first home for young people; facilitations on transport with annual passes for students and 100 million for the activation of research doctorates in the universities of southern Italy.
Pdl written together with associations
Carmelo Traina (PattoXRestare), Flavio Albano (Tornanza) and Giovanni Crisanti (Associata) collaborated on the text. "The proposal is the result of joint work with dozens of youth associations, starting with 'L'associata', with which I have been in contact in recent months, and which I have signed with conviction," said PD senator and signatory of the bill Marco Meloni.
