The second season of House of the Dragon, then the fourth season of The Boys and the finale of Brdgerton 3. Surely if we're in those parts, we're not wrong. The first season of the prequel to Games of Thrones - The Iron Throne only came on in the last few episodes. And from a definite no, it has shifted our judgement to a hopeful ni. From The Boys then we expect a splatter abyss of black humour. We may or may not like it, but from the very first episode it proved that scripts written over the top work. Finally, the Bridgerton phenomenon coming to the throbbing close of its third season. As for last month's suggestions, we confirm the good things we wrote about Evil and The Sympathiser. Doctor Who remains a mystery. But perhaps it's just as well. Enjoy.
Hierarchy- Mini Series From 7 June,
Jooshin High School is controlled by the usual bunch of rich students. Along comes the newcomer, very mysterious and elusive, who changes everything. The plot is not the most original for both a Korean series and a teen-drama. But after the success of Elite, something with the same flavour was needed. But in Korean sauce (assuming there is such a thing as Korean sauce). (Netflix)
Bridgerton - Season 3 Part 2 - 13 June
Last four episodes of season three. We've left Collin and Penelope on the carrack. And some can't wait to find out if Colin will be able to discover that his fiancée is Lady Whistledown. The series is beautifully written, I grant you, but personally its success remains a mystery. (Netflix)
