Flos still sees growth potential in the Asia-Pacific region
In other geographies special focus on contract and B2B projects
Flos closed 2025 by confirming 2024 revenues at EUR 222 million. The decline after 2023's 242.7 million and 2022's 267 million was halted. The expectation for 2026 is that of an "economic trend in line with that of the previous year, following a general normalisation of the market", say the lighting company with headquarters in Bovezzo (Brescia) and exports reaching 90 countries.
In terms of reference markets, the area encompassing Europe, the Middle East and Africa represents an area of strong presence and constant consolidation for Flos. In North America and the Middle East the company has a particular focus on contract and B2B projects. While the Asia-Pacific region remains with growth potential. New shop openings also follow these geographies, especially with an eye towards the East. The most recent include openings of Flos monobrand stores in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Taipei (Taiwan) and Hangzou (China). While the opening of new Flos Design Spaces (shop-in-shops) has taken place in various countries, including Japan (in Tokyo and Nigata), the United States (in Chicago and Atlanta), China (in Suzhou), Australia (in Sydney), and also in Italia inside the Rinascente in Milan. The company now has three flagship stores globally, in Milan, Paris and New York (plus the design hub on Madison Avenue in New York, which displays all the brands of the Flos B&B Italia Group to which it belongs), nine Flos Professional Spaces for B2B and 2,108 dealers worldwide (updated to the end of 2025).
The company is now presenting itself at Milan Design Week with two new collections, presented as prototypes at the last edition of Euroluce: the Maap wall lamp by Erwan Bouroullec, made of ultra-light fibre, which can take on organic shapes allowing the user freedom of configuration, and the Nocturne family of lamps by Konstantin Grcic, which contrasts the lightness of glass and the industrial appearance of the support. They will inhabit the Flos showrooms in Milan for the week.
