A total of four people were injured in last night's crash between two police cars in Rome, in which a 32-year-old officer, Amar Kudin, lost his life. They were three policemen and a man who had been stopped shortly before. According to the reconstruction by the local police, who are in charge of the investigation, Amar was in a squad car of the Primavalle police station driven by a colleague and was sitting on the passenger side. In the back seat was the stopped man. The car in which Amar Kudin was travelling was headed to the police station and was driving along via dei Monfortani towards Torrevecchia. The accident allegedly occurred at an intersection. The other squad car, heading for the scene of a fight in the Corso Francia area, was coming from Via Trionfale in the direction of Pineta Sacchetti. On impact, both squad cars overturned.
