For offices Fantoni and studio Park take residential as a model
Formal rigour and focus on the relationship between space and material in designing workplaces where comfort meets sustainability
he last six months have recorded an overall positive trend for the Fantoni office division, supported in particular by the acquisition of some important orders on the domestic market and in Switzerland. At the same time, the international context remains complex: the recent geopolitical tensions have generated a significant slowdown not only in the Gulf markets - an area in which we are investing strategically, also in light of the difficulties in accessing the US market - but more generally in the entire European scenario". This is how Alessandro Fantoni, sales manager of the office division of the Friuli-based Fantoni Group, describes the company's start of the year. "On the international front," Fantoni explains, "we remain cautious but attentive: if on the one hand the macroeconomic framework imposes caution, on the other hand we continue to preside over strategic markets, ready to seize opportunities in a phase that requires flexibility and long-term vision.
The office remains a central element in corporate strategies, especially to promote smart working, attract new skills and enhance human capital. "In this context, demand is moving towards design solutions capable of combining residential-inspired comfort, operational flexibility and a growing focus on sustainability issues, with an increasingly selective eye on the quality and value of the project," Fantoni continues. Part of this strategic vision is the collaboration with the Park architecture studio, which began last year with the Alis furniture collection, which debuted at the Salone as an expression of an authentic dialogue between architecture and design, and which will be enriched with new elements and configurations at the Salone del Mobile 2026.
"Park was looking for an industrial partner capable of translating this approach into a concrete and coherent system, and from the very first meetings a strong harmony emerged between their design vision and Fantoni's DNA. The collection's style, formal rigour and attention to the relationship between space, material and function found a natural affinity with our way of doing design and industry".
