MooRER has two boutiques in the US and a new one in Milan
“2025 closed with a turnover of 54 million, representing a 2 per cent increase on 2024, with a forecast of 63 million for 2026. In the financial statements, exports account for 52 per cent of turnover, but this figure does not tell the whole story. If we also take into account purchases made in Italia by foreign customers – which are very significant for us – the overseas market actually accounts for around 75 per cent of our business. “This figure demonstrates just how widely recognised and appreciated the brand has become on an international level.” Thus Moreno Faccincani, CEO, creative director and founder of MooRER, comments on the plan to strengthen the Venetian company’s international presence, as it expands into the United States with two new boutiques in New York and Miami. Open for just over a month, the New York flagship store covers 260 square metres with eleven street-facing windows in the heart of Manhattan’s Meatpacking District, one of the most exclusive destinations in international retail. A second boutique is scheduled to open in Miami in September, in the new extension of Bal Harbour – one of the leading luxury retail destinations in the United States – covering an area of approximately 400 square metres.
“In 2025, US exports accounted for 4 per cent of the brand’s total business,” explains Faccincani, “with this figure expected to rise to 15 per cent following the new store openings. On the digital front, the United States has confirmed its position as the second-largest market, after Germany, for e-commerce sales, accounting for 14 per cent of the brand’s annual net online sales. With this in mind, the forthcoming launch of the new e-commerce site will be geared towards further strengthening the relationship with American customers, thanks in part to increasing omnichannel integration. “I am convinced that as early as this year, and certainly from next year, the United States will become our most important market, thanks to the new store openings and MooRER’s as yet untapped potential in this country.”
Alongside its international expansion, the brand has announced that its Milan boutique is relocating to larger premises – around 1,000 square metres spread over two floors – moving from Via Montenapoleone to Corso Venezia. “We can now present the brand exactly as we have always envisaged it,” says Faccincani. “All the work carried out over the years – from research into materials to the creation of the collections, right down to the attention to every detail – has finally found the right space to be showcased. More than just a shop, it will be the place where MooRER’s identity can be fully expressed.”
In recent years, the company has opened boutiques in key cities such as Tokyo (Ginza), Prague, Kyiv and Cortina d’Ampezzo, in addition to the flagship store opened around six months ago in Rome. The plan also includes a second store in Japan, confirming the central role of the Asian market. Between now and 2028, the brand is also looking to further strengthen its presence in major European capitals and key luxury markets, such as Munich, London and Paris.
