For Poliform in Piazza Scala flagship store and café space
Product novelties at Palazzo Clerici. The generational transition introduces an evolutionary phase with the Ai in continuity with tradition
new top management and a new address in the heart of Milan: Poliform arrives at Design Week with a series of novelties that bring together governance, design and positioning. At the helm is now Marco Spinelli, exponent of the third generation, in a move that strengthens family continuity and introduces a new evolutionary phase. In parallel, the flagship store in Piazza della Scala, flanked by the Poliform Café, translates the brand's identity into a daily experience and brings the company's centre of gravity back to the symbolic centre of the city.
The organisational reorganisation formalises a path built up over the years. The board of directors expands to seven members with the entry of the youngest member of the family. "It is a choice and not a compulsory step," confirms the new chief executive officer. "For us, family continuity is a value, but it implies responsibility and awareness. A change matured over time, after joining the company in 2007 following external experience. The change at the top comes in a positive phase: 2025 closed with an aggregate turnover of 350 million, slightly up, and 2026 opened with encouraging signs despite an uncertain international context. Architects, designers and developers continue to represent a solid base of demand, attesting to the quality of the brand positioning. In the wake of its identity as a human company, Poliform confirms a model based on human capital, a culture of know-how and a relationship with the territory, elements that have accompanied the group's international growth over time.
The updating of internal processes is also part of this direction, with the introduction of a new management system and an initial approach to the integration of artificial intelligence in operational activities, with the aim of improving efficiency and coordination. The new flagship store, a few steps from the Teatro alla Scala, thus becomes the pivot of the Milanese presence: three display floors and, next to it, the Poliform Café, a space designed to accompany the day and expand the relationship with the public, translating the codes of living into an accessible experience. This is also the context for the decision to focus during Design Week on city spaces, reinforcing the direct dialogue with Milan and an international clientele, in continuity with the path built up over the years and with the role that the company has consolidated in the design system. Palazzo Clerici will host new products, including a kitchen with a strong architectural character, defined by significant thicknesses, innovative materials and a work on rounded shapes that expands the compositional possibilities. A project that sums up the direction taken: evolving the language of furnishing while maintaining consistency, balancing innovation, design research and industrial tradition.
