(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor Plus) - With the 30th annual Assiom Forex Congress, on 9 and 10 February in Genoa, the appointment with the traditional round table organised by Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor is renewed, which will close the event on Saturday 10 February at 2.30 pm. The editor-in-chief of Il Sole 24 Ore, Fabio Tamburini, will interview businesswoman Ornella Barra on stage and moderate the debate between the host and president of Assiom Forex Massimo Mocio, Bper CEO Piero Luigi Montani, Bocconi University Rector Francesco Billari and the president of the Faculty of Banking Sciences at Cattolica University Elena Beccalli.

The event, entitled 'Competitiveness and growth: the main challenges for Italy and the financial markets', will take stock of the challenges facing Italy in the aftermath of the first speech by the new Governor of the Bank of Italy, Fabio Panetta. Barra, from Chiavari in Liguria, is chief operating officer international of Walgreens Boots Alliance, one of the most important international groups in drug distribution and pharmacies. Montani has led Bper since 2021 and the following year led the Modena-based institution to the acquisition of Carige. Bper itself and Arca Fondi are the sponsors of Forex 2024, acting as main partner and conference partner respectively.
