Former Guido Reni barracks, Cdp Real Asset chooses Coima

In the end, the choice fell, once again, on Coima. The board of directors of Cdp Real Asset Sgr (Cdp Group) has decided to choose Coima Sgr as industrial partner for the redevelopment of the former Guido Reni Barracks in Rome.
The area of the former Guido Reni Barracks will be contributed to an ad hoc Fund managed by Coima Sgr, which will see the participation of Cdp Real Asset, through the FIV - Fondo Investimenti per la Valorizzazione.

The former Guido Reni Barracks cover an area in Rome's Flaminio district of over 5 hectares: the subject of the procedure is the development of 45,000 square metres of the area's private sector, which includes free housing, social housing, commercial spaces and accommodation. The remaining area is public and is intended to host the Science Museum.

A total of three consortia have submitted bids for the real estate development in partnership with Cdp of the former Guido Reni barracks area in Rome's Flaminio district. By the deadline set by the area's owner, Cdp Real Asset sgr, a consortium led by Investire Sgr (Banca Finnat group), headed by Dario Valentino, together with Dea Capital Real Estate, headed by Emanuele Caniggia, and Fabrica Immobiliare (Caltagirone) had submitted bids; a second bid came from Hines, led by Mario Abbadessa, and a third came from Coima, a group that refers to the businessman Manfredi Catella, which was in pole position with the only binding bid also presented in the first tender launched by Cdp Real Asset sgr, which had previously been cancelled because it was deemed not very congruous with respect to expectations.
