(Il Sole 24 Ore Radiocor) - If the existing asbestos is not removed and emissions are not reduced, operations in the hot zone of the former Ilva plant in Taranto must be halted within 90 days. This is the ruling handed down by the commercial division of the Milan Court of Appeal, in response to an appeal lodged by a number of Taranto residents. The ruling has been served on the companies under special administration: Ilva, Acciaierie d’Italia and Acciaierie d’Italia Holding.
