The summer issue of 24 Hours is dedicated to sports watches and starts off by accelerating with a Cover Story dedicated to a new edition of Tag Heuer's legendary Monaco Chronograph x Gulf and an exclusive interview with the reigning Formula 1 world champion, Max Verstappen, driver of Oracle Red Bull Racing, a team that has been a partner of the Swiss brand for years. We remain in the paddock, but move on to the Prancing Horse pit, to discover the futuristic RM 43-01 Chronograph Chronograph Double Tourbillon Ferrari, the second chapter in the partnership between Richard Mille and the Maranello House. Then there are the watches in the Pilot's Watch line dedicated by Iwc to the eagerly awaited F1 film starring Brad Pitt, which came out just a few days ago and in which the Swiss brand participates in the role of... itself! Here is the Land-Dweller, the latest addition to Rolex's prestigious portfolio: a sporty-chic with an integrated bracelet that opens an interesting new page in the maison's history. Staying on the sporty theme, but with a diver's trend, the Multifort 8 Two Crowns arrives at Mido with a distinctive octagonal bezel and a second crown. We remain at sea with the new Luminor Marina by Panerai, unprecedented evolutions of a brand classic, capable of water-resistance to 500 metres and offering better visibility of indications. But also with the Fifty Fathoms Tech BOC IV by Blancpain, a technically advanced diver whose sales contribute to the preservation of the seas, and with the Nereide Damasco by Venezianico, which features a distinctive Damascus steel dial. High chronograph performance (the complication par excellence in sports watchmaking) for Grand Seiko's Tokyo Lion Tentagraph equipped with an IWC-manufactured calibre at 36,000 vibrations per hour. It continues with a gallery featuring sports models from Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, Baume & Mercier, Montblanc, Gerald Charles, Nomos Glashütte, Eberhard & Co. and Tudor. For the grand finale of this section, the interviews with two exceptional personalities: Italian and world football legend Gianluigi Buffon, now also brand ambassador and partner of Norqain, and one of the greatest strikers in the history of women's football, Ada Hegerberg, Hublot's friend of the brand in the hunt for victory at the European Championships in July in Switzerland with her team Norway. 24 Hours continues by stepping out of the sporting arena, to tell first about Vacheron Constantin's new Patrimony watches dedicated to its 270th anniversary, then Chanel's big news, the striking J12 Bleu line made up of nine models, and the Serpenti Aeterna with which Bulgari changes the skin of its icon, introducing a new declination with a more minimal and essential structure. The tour of the Italian boutiques in this issue lands in Portofino, visiting the showcase opened by Verga 1947.
