France is making its third such military delivery this year, with 14 tonnes of machine gun spare parts bound for Israel.

France plans to deliver 14 tonnes of machine gun spare parts to Israel, the third such military supply so far in 2025. This was reported by Disclose and The Ditch, in a joint investigation.

According to these sources, an Israeli ship will dock at the port of Fos-sur-Mer, near Marseille, on 5 June. "On the same day, the Contship Era will secretly load 14 tonnes of spare parts for machine guns. This military equipment, manufactured by the French company Eurolinks, will be delivered to the arms manufacturer Israel military industries,' the sources revealed.

The ship will then head for the port of Haifa.

The first such delivery took place on 3 April, with 20 tonnes of war material, while the second, with one million M9 and one million M27 bullets, took place on 22 May, according to the investigation.

"An Israeli container ship, the Contship Era of the Zim company, loaded with 14 tonnes of weapons produced in France will call at the ports of Genoa and Salerno in the coming days before heading to Haifa, Israel.

This is the third voyage in three months and, according to the maritime traffic monitoring sites, on the last voyage the ship also stopped at two Italian ports: in the Ligurian port on 23 May and in the Campania port on 26 May'.

This was stated by the leaders of the Foreign Affairs and Defence Committees of the House and Senate, Francesco Silvestri, Marco Pellegrini and Bruno Marton.

"We do not know the nature of the cargo embarked and to be embarked in Genoa and Salerno, but it is hard to imagine that it is pesto and mozzarella. We demand to know whether these are weapons produced in Italy. We appeal to the Italian government not to allow this ship of death to use our ports, even if only for a technical stopover.

And we ask Italian citizens to mobilise in peaceful protest against this tangible symbol of our country's complicity with the genocide in Gaza,' the Pentastellati concluded.
