Franciacorta renews its partnership with the Emmy Awards for the sixth year running
Denominazione will be attending the events of the 2026 Emmy Season
The Franciacorta Consortium is renewing its partnership with the Television Academy and the Emmy Awards for the sixth consecutive year, extending its presence throughout the 2026 Emmy Season. The Consortium will be involved in the official events leading up to the 78th Emmy Awards ceremony, scheduled for 14 September at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles. The season began on 8 July with the announcement of the nominations. Among the names nominated for the 2026 edition are Steve Carell, Jamie Lee Curtis, Harrison Ford, Lisa Kudrow, Gary Oldman and Michelle Pfeiffer. Alongside these established actors are Taylor Dearden, Chase Infiniti, Sarah Pidgeon and Connor Storrie.
Extending the partnership to cover the entire season increases the opportunities for Franciacorta to raise its profile in the United States. The Emmy Season events bring together screenwriters, actors, producers, television industry professionals, the media and international opinion leaders, offering the Denomination a platform on which to showcase its connection with the region and Italian winemaking culture.
The first event listed on the calendar is the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony & Reception on 13 August at the JW Marriott LA Live in Los Angeles. This will be followed on 5 and 6 September by the days dedicated to the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Franciacorta will also be present at the Governors’ Galas and the other events leading up to the main ceremony.
The programme will culminate on 14 September with the 78th Emmy Awards ceremony at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, which will be broadcast internationally. The awards ceremony will be followed by the Governors’ Gala, a reception bringing together winners, nominees and guests.
The partnership with the Television Academy forms part of the activities through which Franciacorta is strengthening its presence in the United States and the appellation’s international profile. The Franciacorta Consortium, founded on 5 March 1990 and based in Erbusco (Brescia), is chaired by Emanuele Rabotti and comprises 120 wineries.
